Boater 101
	Boater 101 is a fun, informative way to learn about boating safety, environmental awareness and marine industry careers. The program was developed in 1993 by the Center for Environmental Education and Research, Inc. (CEERI), a non-profit organization, through collaboration with law enforcement officers, the marine community, educators and environmentalists. Boater 101 utilizes an e-Learning website, upbeat television series and a student manual to give participants a comprehensive boating safety program that they will use throughout their lives. Chapman School of Seamanship

SeaKey®
	SeaKey v2.0 is a satellite-based, safety and security system that monitors a boat and communicates vital information to the boat owner, to the SeaKey 24/7 Response Center, and the owner’s personal SeaKey website. SeaKey monitors battery voltage, bilge level, the location of the vessel, and a sophisticated GeoFence that sends an alarm in the event of a theft attempt. By alerting the boat owner, SeaKey can help prevent further damage; saving hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. The system also includes SOS and non-emergency messaging that sends the encoded GPS coordinates, allowing the SeaKey Response Center to coordinate with responders and service providers.
